@wigglytuffitout (actually I have feelings about all the eras, but I have a great surplus of feelings and most of them are about Star Wars)
@wigglytuffitout yes!!! I have so many feelings about the Clone Wars-era characters and not nearly enough brain coherency time properly ramble about them but at Some Future Point I will absolutely flail about them
@wigglytuffitout Yes! You get it!!! Padmé was a *child queen*, she’s not going to be a normal well-adjusted adult, she just hides her Issues better than Anakin (and I feel like the secret relationship appealed to her *because* it was one thing in her life that was fully and completely hers, and I have Many Opinions and not enough coherence at the moment to express them)
@noelle I read this as “undead herring”
@wigglytuffitout @noelle @InspectorCaracal @chr ...and now I see more toots than were initially loading, and see that it was a question about y’all in a specific dialect, rather than how it’s used in the various dialects that use it.
@wigglytuffitout @noelle @InspectorCaracal @chr My Texan mother would say that “all y’all” is an abomination unto grammar and “y’all” is for all groups; I suspect there is regional variation. (I tend to start using “y’all” either when there are more than three or four people or when it otherwise wouldn’t be clear whether I was talking to everybody or one person.)
@noelle ...I could have sworn I was, like, 12 when it came out.
@Crash that said, oh no
@Crash …I forgot I don’t have the Elekk emojis
@wigglytuffitout @revolverocelot@elekk.xyz Oh! The fanfic actually exists and I misread it as being part of the joke! Is it on ao3 or ff.net or anywhere?
@wigglytuffitout @revolverocelot@elekk.xyz …I unironically want to read this fanfic 👀
@magicalmilly That is *fantastic* and I love it.
@magicalmilly Page is a joy and a delight and I support her and her undead hands unconditionally
@noelle (That may have been incoherent. But I love you and believe in your goodness even when I am incoherent. <3)
@noelle Less chain-letter-y—
Being a good person isn’t about never failing or never making mistakes or even never hurting anyone. It’s *about* trying sincerely to be better than yesterday, and I know you do, and it’s one of the (many many) things I love about you. You are compassionate and genuine in ways that *show* you’ve practiced it as a skill, that you’ve worked to be good to people, and that’s what a good person is—someone who works to be good to people. <3
Autistic, asexual, sapphic, genderfluid, definitely queer. Might be a Sith politics pundit. (they/them)
